Welcome to My Journey Through the Vastness of Space

Hi! I’m Anthony — also known as Antharion.
For well over a decade, I’ve been chasing light in the dark, trying to capture whispers of the cosmos before they fade. This site is where I share my favorite captures, some info on my current gear, and a few tips I’ve picked up along the way.

Last year, I made the switch from traditional (and let’s be honest — back-breaking) astrophotography gear to something smarter: a Vaonis Vespera II.
Some purists say it takes away the “magic.” But when you’ve got a 3-year-old who thinks sleep is an abstract concept, you learn to value tools that let you take a nebula shot with minimal setup and maximum output.

The telescope delivers images in various formats: neatly stacked .tiff files, separate .fits files for hands-on processing, or quick .jpeg previews.
The real magic still happens after — I run each file through a digital alchemy of tools until it looks just right.

Whether you’re here for inspiration, guidance, or just to wonder with me — you’re most welcome.
Join me on this cosmic ride and discover what happens when light, patience, and pixels align.
